Gabriela Bianchi Flores

 Lighting Designer


Stage Lighting Designer graduated from the Escola Superior de Tècniques de les Arts de l'Espectacle at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona, specializing in lighting design. She previously trained in Circus Arts at El Circo del Mundo Chile.



Based in Barcelona, her lighting work spans various fields within the performing arts, with a particular focus on contemporary dance, new dramaturgies, and contemporary circus.



Her creative vision is centered on exploring the dialogue between light and the moving body, through a collaborative approach that brings together the different disciplines of the stage. She seeks to develop a visual dramaturgy that enhances and complements the narrative, grounded in both sensory and conceptual research.



Over the course of her career, she has worked closely with a wide range of contemporary dance, theater, circus, and multimedia companies, as well as with artists investigating unconventional and innovative dramaturgical forms.



Her designs have toured to major performing arts festivals and venues, showcasing her distinctive approach to light as a narrative and emotional element within the scenic space.
